A twenty day course including examination days, leading to, upon successful completion the BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection. Topics include all aspects of Crop Protection and decision making. Weed, Pest and Disease recognition, biology and control. Legislation and Codes of Practice. Storage, application and environmental impact. Covering Cereals, OSR, Sugar Beet, Potatoes, Legumes, Grassland and minor crops.
